In 1989 Gary Blehm published first

poster entitled, "Find the Two Identical PENMEN®" with 1,039 individually drawn characters. Through the 1990's Blehm published and distributed 100,000 PENMEN Posters, published a book, and saw the wordless comic strip syndicated in newspapers.​
