The first publication of the PENMEN Wordless Comic Strip first printed in the "City Comix" in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1989. Without words the classic "gag" seen in speech balloons is substituted for a silent, whimsical wit expressed by the playful expressions of Penman, the Positively Optimistic Purveyor of Optimism.
